After exploring Abu Simbel, return to your Nile cruise to enjoy lunch and dinner on board and relax for the evening.

After breakfast, sail to Kom Ombo to visit the unique double temple dedicated to two gods: Haroeris and Sobek (the crocodile god). Built between 180-47 BC, it has two of everything (halls, courts, and sanctuaries) perfectly symmetrical.
Next, visit Edfu Temple, built between 237-57 BC to honor Horus, the god of protection. Its walls tell the story of the legendary battle between Horus and Set.

Today, you’ll explore some of the most famous attractions in Luxor.
Karnak Temple
Your first stop is the impressive Karnak Temple Complex, one of the largest ancient temple sites in Egypt.
Karnak was built and expanded by many pharaohs over hundreds of years and was an important religious center in ancient Thebes. The complex was mainly dedicated to the Theban Triad: Amun, Mut, and Khonsu.
Walk through the huge columns, ancient statues, and temple courtyards while your guide shares the stories behind this incredible place. Don’t miss the Great Hypostyle Hall, one of the most impressive parts of the complex.
Lunch & Hotel Check-In
After your visit to Karnak Temple, head to your 5-star hotel in Luxor for check-in and lunch.
Later in the evening, you’ll head out again to explore Luxor Temple.
Luxor Temple by Night
Enjoy a different view of Luxor Temple as you explore it in the evening when the temple is beautifully lit up.
Built mainly during the reigns of Amenhotep III and Ramses II, Luxor Temple was an important place for religious celebrations in ancient Egypt. Your guide will tell you about its history, the ancient Egyptian gods worshipped here, and the famous Opet Festival.
You’ll also see the Avenue of Sphinxes, the ancient road that once connected Luxor Temple with Karnak Temple.

Valley of the Kings
Start your morning at the famous Valley of the Kings, where many of Egypt’s New Kingdom pharaohs were buried.
Walk through the valley and explore some of the beautifully decorated tombs carved into the mountains. Depending on the tickets included in your tour, you may have the chance to visit several tombs, including the tomb of Tutankhamun.
Your guide will explain the stories behind the tombs and the beliefs that shaped ancient Egyptian burial traditions.
Temple of Hatshepsut
Next, visit the impressive Temple of Hatshepsut, built into the cliffs of Deir El-Bahari.
The temple was built for Queen Hatshepsut, one of ancient Egypt’s most famous female rulers. Its three levels, large terraces, and dramatic setting make it one of the most memorable sites in Luxor.
