Giza Pyramids Complex Your first stop is the Giza Pyramids Complex, standing for roughly 4,000 years as one of the oldest monuments on Earth. The complex includes three main pyramids, six smaller pyramids, the iconic Sphinx, and the Valley Temple.

The Great Pyramid As the only surviving structure among the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World, the Great Pyramid is an essential stop. Built around 2580 BC, it took roughly 20 years to complete using 2.3 million blocks of limestone, each weighing about 2.5 tons, and a workforce of 100,000 skilled laborers. At 147 meters tall, it held the record as the world's tallest structure for nearly 3,800 years.

The Great Sphinx Carved from a single block of limestone, the Great Sphinx combines the body of a lion with a human head, believed to represent King Khafre, symbolizing strength and wisdom. Known locally as Abu Al-Hawl, or the Father of Terror, it stands 73 meters long and 19 meters tall, and much about its origins remains a mystery to this day.

The Valley Temple This well-preserved structure from Egypt's Old Kingdom (2686–2134 BC) served as the site of ancient mummification rituals. Built from limestone and granite, it also houses striking diorite statues of King Khafre.

The Grand Egyptian Museum Spanning nearly 490,000 square meters near the Giza Pyramids, the Grand Egyptian Museum showcases over 5,000 years of Egyptian history, art, and spirituality. As one of the largest conservation and research centers in the Middle East, it houses remarkable treasures such as the Hanging Obelisk, an 11-meter statue of Ramses II, and the full Tutankhamun collection of more than 5,000 artifacts.

The Egyptian Museum Built in 1901 in the heart of downtown Cairo, the Egyptian Museum is one of the world's oldest archaeological museums. Its two floors display artifacts spanning from the Predynastic Period through the Greco-Roman era.

The High Dam
One of Aswan's few modern landmarks, the High Dam was built between 1960 and 1970 during President Gamal Abdel Nasser's era. Designed with the help of Soviet engineers, it was created to control the Nile's flooding, expand irrigation water storage through Lake Nasser, and generate hydroelectric power.

The Unfinished Obelisk
Commissioned by Queen Hatshepsut (1508–1458 BC) to stand alongside the Lateran Obelisk, now in Rome, this massive granite structure offers rare insight into ancient obelisk-making techniques. Known as "Tekhenu," meaning "to pierce the sky," it would have reached 42 meters in height and weighed around 1,200 tons had it not cracked during construction, leaving it in its quarry to this day.

Philae Temple
Dedicated to the goddess Isis, Philae Temple is famous for its depiction of the Osiris myth, the story of betrayal, death, and resurrection that shaped much of ancient Egyptian religious belief. In the 1960s, the temple was relocated to Agilkia Island as part of a UNESCO rescue mission following the construction of the Aswan High Dam.

Kom Ombo Temple Known as "The Hill of Gold," Kom Ombo Temple was built during the Greco-Roman period, between 205 and 180 BC, under Ptolemy V. What sets it apart is its unique symmetrical design, split into two identical halves, one dedicated to the crocodile god Sobek, the other to the falcon god Horus.

Edfu Temple Among the last temples built during the Ptolemaic era (237–57 BC), Edfu Temple was dedicated to the sky god Horus. According to the Osiris myth, it's believed to mark the site of the legendary battle between Horus and the god Set. Rediscovered in 1860 by French Egyptologist Auguste Mariette, the temple is remarkable for its blend of Greek and Egyptian architectural styles.

The cruise continues sailing toward Luxor, with lunch and dinner served on board and an overnight stay as you arrive at night.

Valley of the Kings
No trip to Luxor is complete without the Valley of the Kings, the final resting place of Egypt's New Kingdom pharaohs (1570–1070 BC). Named a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1979, the valley holds 63 tombs filled with remarkable treasures, statues, and elaborate wall art, including the tombs of Ramses II, Amenhotep I, Hatshepsut, and the famous boy-king Tutankhamun.

Hatshepsut Temple
Known as Djeser-Djeseru, or "Holy of Holies," Hatshepsut Temple stands as a symbol of Luxor's grandeur and the legacy of one of ancient Egypt's most powerful female rulers, Queen Hatshepsut. Designed in 1479 BC and built over 15 years, the temple's classical architecture houses some of Egypt's most striking statues and artwork.

Colossi of Memnon
Standing 18 meters tall and weighing 720 tons each, the twin Colossi of Memnon depict Pharaoh Amenhotep III and have watched over Luxor for centuries. Damaged by an earthquake in 27 BC and later restored, the statues became famous during the Greco-Roman period for their mysterious "singing" sound at dawn, actually caused by wind passing through the stone.

Karnak Temple
One of Egypt's most extraordinary surviving sites, Karnak Temple dates back more than 4,000 years and stands as the largest religious complex ever built. For over 1,500 years, it served as the spiritual heart of ancient Egypt, dedicated primarily to the Theban Triad, the gods Amun, Mut, and Khonsu, alongside other deities such as Osiris, Montu, Ptah, and Isis.

You'll then transfer to Luxor Airport for your flight back to Cairo, where you'll spend the night.
