Giza Pyramids Complex Dating back more than 4,000 years, the Giza Pyramids Plateau includes the three main pyramids, six smaller pyramids, the Great Sphinx, and the Valley Temple, all built to honor the ancient Egyptian gods and preserve the legacy of the pharaohs for eternity.
The Great Pyramid Built by King Khufu around 2580 BC, the Great Pyramid is one of the oldest and largest structures ever constructed, marking the beginning of ancient Egypt's golden age of monumental architecture. Completed in roughly 20 years using 2.3 million blocks of limestone, it stood at 147 meters, making it the tallest building in the world for nearly 3,800 years until the completion of Lincoln Cathedral in 1311. Its complex interior continues to inspire theories and fascination to this day.
The Great Sphinx As the oldest known statue in the world, the Great Sphinx has captivated travelers and scholars for centuries. Standing 73 meters long and 19 meters tall, it combines the body of a lion with a human head, believed to represent King Khafre, symbolizing strength and wisdom.
The Valley Temple This remarkably preserved structure from Egypt's Old Kingdom was the site of ancient mummification rituals. Built from limestone and granite, it also houses striking diorite statues of King Khafre.
The Grand Egyptian Museum Spanning nearly 490,000 square meters near the Giza Pyramids, the Grand Egyptian Museum showcases over 5,000 years of Egyptian art, spirituality, and history. As one of the largest conservation centers in the Middle East, it's home to remarkable treasures such as the Hanging Obelisk, an 11-meter statue of Ramses II, and the complete Tutankhamun collection of more than 5,000 artifacts.
Lunch Time Enjoy lunch at a local restaurant in Cairo before continuing to your next stop.
Saqqara Step Pyramid Designed by the legendary architect Imhotep for Pharaoh Djoser, the Saqqara Step Pyramid was the first pyramid ever built, marking the dawn of monumental stone architecture in Egypt. Rising 62 meters in a distinctive six-step design, it's surrounded by a complex featuring some of the earliest ceremonial structures and decorations of its kind.
Overnight You'll then be driven back to your hotel to spend the night.
After breakfast, step into the heart of historic Cairo with your guide to explore the city's most treasured landmarks, starting with:
The Egyptian Museum
Built in 1901 in the heart of downtown Cairo, the Egyptian Museum houses one of the world's most remarkable collections of ancient Egyptian artifacts, spanning thousands of years of history.

Mohamed Ali Mosque
Known as the Alabaster Mosque, this striking landmark was built between 1830 and 1848, inspired by Istanbul's Blue Mosque as a symbol of independence from Ottoman rule. Its Ottoman-style architecture, blended with French Rococo touches, features an elegant dome and rich detailing in red, green, and gold.
The National Museum of Egyptian Civilization
Located in Old Cairo's Fustat district, this museum houses around 50,000 artifacts spanning 4,000 years of Egyptian history and culture, including the celebrated Royal Mummies Hall.
